EGSV AD 2.20  LOCAL AERODROME REGULATIONS

1  Airport Regulations
  1. Prior Permission (PPR) is required, available online at http://www.oldbuck.com.

  2. No weight shift microlights permitted at the aerodrome.

  3. No Autogyros permitted at the aerodrome.

  4. No helicopters permitted at the aerodrome unless for maintenance.

  5. Aerodrome is not licensed for night flying.

  6. Aerodrome is not available to non-radio equipped aircraft.

2  Ground Movement
  1. Pilots and passengers using aircraft parking Area C must use the pick-up point designated on the AIP Chart. No person is permitted to proceed south of the designated area at any time.

3  CAT II/III Operations

4  Warnings
  1. Gliding takes place at Tibenham Aerodrome 5 NM to the southeast.

  2. Occasional straw stack up to 30 FT AGL, 250 M from Runway 25 threshold.

  3. Vehicles may cross the runway at the intersection of runway and perimeter road.

  4. Caution Class D airspace at Norwich Airport has been established approximately 5 NM north of Old Buckenham Aerodrome up to FL 50.

  5. Aerodrome Obstacle: 25/Approach 07/Take-off, 523108N 0010819E, Radio mast, 884 FT AMSL, lit, 3 NM bearing 068° T from AD.

5  Helicopter Operations
  1. Helicopters are only permitted for the purposes of maintenance.

6  Use of Runways
  1. Grass Runway 07/25 operations must not be simultaneous with Hard Runway 07/25 operations.

  1. Training Aircraft operate daily and sorties often comprise student solos.

EGSV AD 2.21  NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES

  1. Avoid overflying the village of Old Buckenham (1 NM SSW of the AD) and the town of Attleborough (2 NM NW of the aerodrome).

  2. Overhead Joins are prohibited except for training approved by the aerodrome management.

  3. Ensure familiarity with local circuit diagram at aerodrome website. Detail is also given with Prior Permission (PPR) requests.

EGSV AD 2.22  FLIGHT PROCEDURES

1  Circuits
  1. Circuit directions: Runway 07 - LH; Runway 25 - RH. Circuit height: 1000 FT AAL.

  2. Arrivals:

    1. When joining Runway 07 from the west, report at Snetterton Heath;

    2. When joining Runway 25 from the east, report at Tacolneston Mast.

  3. Departures:

    1. When departing from Runway 25, turn onto track 270° until reaching the railway line south of Attleborough;

    2. When departing from Runway 07, maintain runway heading until reaching 1500 FT AAL prior to setting course.
